Called to Community

The Lord Jesus said, “I will build my Church.” The church that He is building are a people who have each been born anew by the Spirit of God, and constituted the people of God by adoption into His family.  We are all spiritually dead because we have sinned against God – but in believing on the Lord Jesus Christ we have everlasting life. He alone is able to save us from the power and penalty of our sins because “the soul that sins, it shall die.” Being made alive in Christ Jesus, we become His disciples and brothers and sisters together in our Lord. We meet together to share in worship each Sunday morning at 11am, and to listen to God’s word, the Bible, which directs our lives as to how we can live to God’s glory! We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will return one day, unexpectedly, to judge everyone by His word, so we live not for this world, but for the better world to come where sin will be no more. Our common bond and love for one another springs from our union with our Lord, and we love Him because He first loved us and died to set us free from the penalty of our sins.
We serve one another in love, because this is the kind of family God called us to be “See how they love one another.”

Growth Groups & Bible Study

We hope to commence smaller Bible study groups soon - these will meet in homes during the week,
and will be an opportunity to learn and grow in our faith and maturity as Christians.

We also hope to have a weekly Sunday evening Bible study focused on getting deeper into God’s Word - more later.

Children's Ministry

Discipling our children in the faith is very important to us at Bellarine Presbyterian Church. We encourage children to stay in the Sunday service to worship with their families, and we have a talk and singing especially tailored to the children, with other aids to help them engage throughout the service.

Bellarine Presbyterian Church is a Child Safe Church. Everyone working with children is vetted internally and externally, trained in Child Safe standards, and has a Working with Children Check. The Presbyterian Church takes child safety very seriously, and you can read much more about the standards and processes that apply at our church at http://www.safechurchpcv.org.au.
